A community built on heritage
Peuh Munka'a Southern Africa unites the sons and daughters of the Kingdom of Baméka living across Southern Africa — preserving identity, supporting one another and investing in the future.
Our Origins
From Munka to Southern Africa
Baméka families began arriving in Southern Africa in search of study, trade and opportunity. As their numbers grew, so did the need for a structure that could hold the community together, welcome newcomers, mark births and mourn losses, and keep a living connection with the Kingdom back home.
Peuh Munka'a Southern Africa was formed to give that instinct a permanent home: an organised, transparent and welcoming association of the Children of Munka, working in harmony with the traditional leadership of Baméka.
Today PMSA supports members across South Africa and the wider region through cultural gatherings, mutual assistance, development projects and youth and women's programmes.
